sony kdl-46v4100 problem..

hi i purchased a new sony kdl-46v4100 from best buy. im very happy with it but theres a bit of "clouding" on the top right corner and bottom right corner. its not noticable but you can clearly see it on dark scenes. any1 know how to fix this? i heard that this is common with this model. thanks in advance

I would exchange it and see if the next one is better. They said it was common with my TV as well, I got lucky. If you are past your 30 day return policy, either get warranty support or turn your backlight down as far as you can stand.

Take it back and get the 46Z4100 off Amazon for the same price. (Except without added sales tax)

return it... it is a known problem with samsungs & sony lcds, on any model number.... it is called 'clouding'.

It is tought that it happens (damaged) in shipping by eather it is not shipped up right or that something has rested against the LCD screen or even something resting against the styrofoam inserts putting stress on that corner of the tv. Some think it is quality control issues... I few years ago sony moved the screen production to a diffrent country (I forget at this time what one) & quality control then went down some.

If you can not return it....
the one thing that I have read that can help to fix it or reduce it, is to lay the tv flat on the back (the screen up) for a few days & DO NOT let anyone put anything on top or let any pet on top.

You can return at Best Buy, just may need to pay a restocking fee.

ok so ill just exchange it since im not past my 30 days and get a new one and will see what happens. hopefully there will be no problems cause im in love with this tv. thanks guys for your replies
