Default Onkyo 705, 706 or 805? HELP!
Guys, I need your help.
I'm ready to upgrade my receiver from a Sony Dream System with very limited conections to either a 705, 706 or 805 Onkyo, which are close to my budget. I just recently got a S350 and finally convinced the misses to let me invest in a decent receiver (speakers will be budgeted for 2009, I'm not that lucky). I'm ready to go lossless.
I've heard a lot of good things about the 705 that I'm just wondering if for $120 more the 706 would be a better option (705 refurbished, 706 new)or if for $50 more than the 706 the 805 (refurbished) with its THX Ultra would be the right choice.
Please, if you have any of these receivers list the pros and cons that you have experienced with them, also all of you that have bought refurbished receivers what's your expirence with them? are them as good as new?
All suggestions are welcomed.
