Lawsuit against God tossed over lack of address

LINCOLN, Neb. - A judge has thrown out a Nebraska legislator's lawsuit against God, saying the Almighty wasn't properly served, because of his unlisted home address. State Sen. Ernie Chambers filed the lawsuit last year seeking a permanent injunction against God.He said God has made terroristic threats against the senator and his constituents in Omaha, inspired fear and caused "widespread death, destruction and terrorization of millions upon millions of the Earth's inhabitants."
Chambers has said he filed the lawsuit to make the point that everyone should have access to the courts regardless of whether they are rich or poor.........

If God has an address, then he has not to my knowledge, filled out a tax return. If God does not have an address, is he an illegal immigrant and can he be deported? Amazing what our tax dollars in these trying times go to in our legal syatem.

No, just another hi-profile Athie trying a publicity stunt, and getting humorously pantsed in public with real-world technicalities...

Like the one who tried to make a headline stunt out of selling his soul on eBay--
Only to have the auction cancelled by the admins because it violated the rule against selling body parts if he thought he had one, and misrepresenting false sale items if he thought he didn't.

(The best sarcasm stays rooted in the everyday.)

I'm sure his constituents don't have a clue. Google the stern clip where they went to harlem and asked the Obama supporters about how they felt about his running mate, Sarah Palin, and if they supported Obama's pro-life stance and desire to overturn Roe vs Wade. They all thought Palin was a good choice for Obama, and they liked Obama's pro-life stance on abortion.

I'm sure if you did a poll on college campuses and affluent neighborhoods across the country, you'd get asimiliar response for BOTH Obama and McCain supporters. The only thing most voters know about the candidates, are the 15 second commercials on TV.

That’s the part that bothers me too. Did anyone hear about the case in which a lawyer wanted to sue a dry cleaner 12 Million dollars for losing his pants? The judge threw the case out before it even got started. At least he had some good sense.

Either way, that idiot should be disbarred for something like that. Or was he? I didn't follow it after the case was dismissed.
