Okay, after reading MANY posts and reviews on the innerwebs, I have purchased the panasonic bd30, excellent price I think too, future shop has it on sale for 299.00 (regular 499.00) plus you get the iron man 2 disc ultimate edition thrown in for free, so that was a nice bonus too. Anyhow! I KNOW they are going to try and soak me (I did in store pick up for the items) for the hdmi cable. HOWEVER after perusing this forum I want to order it at monoprice.com; but seeing as I am a total dingdong when it comes to the electronic stuff I seen all the choices of just hdmi cables and just about crapped my pants!

We have a Sony Grand Wega LCD 50" KF-50WE610 would be the model number (I think it is 50, it could be the 60) I know it is 1080i (much to hubbys dismay not 1080p) and I already said I prepurchased the panasonic bd30 blu ray, our receiver is a harmon kardon avr 230. I don't have a clue if you need all this information at all, because like I said I am honestly at a total loss.

I would really appreciate any help on this, it is for my husbands birthday at the end of the month.
