I have just noticed on Play.com that on the 9th Feb Friday 13th Parts 2 & 3 are scheduled to be released on Blu Ray

This is good. It would be nice if they release it in 3D with red and blue glasses for the 3rd film since it was originally filmed in 3D.

We need a source that can confirm this.

Anyone know if Paramount has the rights to these films in the UK, or is it another studio?

it is my understanding that Paramount has the worldwide rights to the films, except Warners which had international rights to the first film (uncensored). Jason Goes to Hell and onwards they went to New Line.

Friday the 13th 3D was not anaglyph 3-D. I still have the glasses. It used polarization.

Part 3 rocks !! thats easily the best chapter. I won't bother with the first one as i was never that keen on it..prob coz jason aint in it..might get 2 and 3 and poss 4..will prob skip the rest and just keep the dvd's fot those.
