Hi, i dont saw it in complete but i check a lot of frame of the movie and i can confirm you that the pq is very great and the sound seem to be good, so don't worry about the highdefdouche review, the guy need some glasses to see clearly on his hd tv haha!!

I bought it too and it looks fantastic (detail is incredible). Totally worth 20 bucks, It just sucks there are zero extras but what are you going to do.

That's great news, I may have to import. I haven't heard anything about anyone seeing/picking up From Dusk Till Dawn, which I was even more interested in. Did either of you see that one? I think it was supposed to street today always, a bit of a Rodriguez 2-fer I guess.

No sorry, I didn't like Dusk till dawn enough to warrant a buy but it was 19.99 too and it is the same basic package as Sin City with no extras at all. I'm sure someone will post a user review ina few days.

Cool, well it's great to confirm it is out. I may wait on Sin City, but seeing as the R1 DVD's of Dusk Till Dawn didn't even have an anamorphic transfer, I am DYING to see this on Blu the right way (well, since I saw it in the theater). Thanks for the info!

I've seen it so many times on DVD but the Bluray will
open your eyes and make your jaw drop!

The problem with From Dusk til Dawn getting a bare bones release is I have always felt like Full Tilt Boogie (Making of Doc. included in the US DVD) is just as entertaining as the feature film.

Yeah, when I went to pick up SWEENEY TODD today, I saw that SIN CITY and FROM DUSK TILL DAWN were at BestBuy as well. I would have picked them up, but they didn't have any extras on them at all.

I'm sure the PQ on them must have been incredible, but I'm not getting, especially since both of those DVD's have some really great extras on them. FROM DUSK TILL DAWN has a really great feature length doc on it that goes into detail on the IATSE controversy that the film had during it's production, as well as focusing on the actual crew of the film instead of the creative talent. Plus, the Rodriguez/Tarantino commentary is awesome.

Just got back from Futureshop (in Trois-Rivières, Qc) and I yhea I saw Sin City, Kill Bill 1 & 2 for 20$.

I'll wait for the US version of Sin City with maybe the extras and stuff... I bought instead ''Gangs Of New York'' who was part of the 20$ deal for a couple of days... (I never saw this movie...)

I didn't saw Diary of The Dead or From Dusk Till Dawn....(who were part also of the 20$ deal...)

there some scene that just blew me away really cool blu-ray, im not much of a extra guy so i can live with the fact that there is none :P

Gangs of New York's video quality is pretty much botched. One of the worst transfers from Disney.

Does anyone have any idea when from dusk till dawn will be released in the U.S. ? I was hoping to get it before Halloween but, if the U.S. version has the dvd extras I think I will wait. Does anybody know?

Even though there is no extra's I will probably get the Canadian release of Sin City. Especially since there is no real talk of when the US release will come (that I know of). And I bet the picture is amazing, the colors and everything is amazing on regular DVD, I cant imagine on Blu Ray.

We need screenshots if you ask me!
