Equalizer settings for onkyo 805?? - Blu-ray Forum

Ive got the 805 with polk Rti6 for my fronts, polk rm201 for my rears and a polk Csi3 for my center, anyone able to help me out with the speaker equalizer settings? Not sure about "hz" numbers and where they should be in relevance to my speakers.

Any help would be great!

Use the Auto Calibration...

Run the Audyssey setup. Then, you can always make some tweaks. It actually probably tells you in the Polk manual what to set the crossovers at, but a good starting point is 80hz. If it sounds too boomy or distorted, try scaling it back to as far as 120hz for small bookshelf speakers.

The crossover points are where the receiver will rolloff the lower frequency stuff and send it over to the subwoofer.
