Need help on Onkyo 705 equalizer

Hi, I recently buy the Onkyo TX-SR705 replacing my old school Sony SR-DE1075 to hear the new formats (DTrue, DTS-HD) on my PS3 (ver 2.35).
But I feel that my old receiver sounds better. I don't understand how to set the speakers equalizer(Hz) to hear more treble, more fidelity on the sountracks. With the old receiver I feel more the LFE. What I'm doing wrong?
What keys in the equalizer going up and whats going down in order to create like an "V" in the spectrum of the receiver?
Somebody help me please!
