Default Mirage Omni S10 or Energy S10.3 Sub?

I have the chance to pick up either of these two subs for around $200 new. I'm upgrading from an old Energy eXL S8. There are probably better choices for a few more dollars (I'm really tempted to save more and get the ED A2-300 but space is an issue) but I still need to ask the question:

If someone offered to give you one of these two subs for free, which one would you take?

They appear to be very similarly equipped, both reputable names and both made by Klipsch. I've read so many posts, recommendations and reviews on the subject, my eyes are blurry. I just don't have enough experience with Mirage to know if either sub has the edge in quality and sound. I trust the many experts we have here to guide my decision.

Well, I received no feedback from anyone, so I went with the Energy S10.3. I picked it up for $150 shipped. It's B-Stock, but I'm sure it will be fine. It'll go well with my RC speakers (see home theater gallery).

Why didn't I wait for the A2-300? Would that I could have. But with the economy the way it is, money is tight. The fact that my wife thinks any electronics that cost more than $49.99 is a waste of money (right...like $150 for shoes isn't a waste) doesn't help. If I get her to agree to something I have to jump on it. In this case, it was easier to justfy $150 as opposed to $350. I got a nice upgrade I can live with, and I get to live in relative harmony. The things we do for love...

Order the A2-300 and when it gets in, return the Energy sub. Sneak it in and put it somewhere where it won't be seen easily. Say you got the sub "fixed" for a bit of money.

With that advice you better be able to draw up a good court settlement for his divorce, too.
