Default Firmware Update Problem

Hello,

Recently I had downloaded the latest Firmware (UPDATE_BDPS300_VER0420) for my Sony Blu-Ray Player. Along with downloading the update, I printed off the instructions and followed them closely. Instead of using a CD-R, I used a CD-Rpro, not thinking that it really made much of a difference. When I placed the CD-Rpro into my machine, it did not say "DISC DWLD" on the face of my Player, but read "DATA DISC" instead. I waited for the recommended 30 minutes that the procedure was to take and nothing happened. Does this mean I need to go out and buy a regular CD-R, instead of using CD-Rpro?

What kind of file is it that you downloaded?
Was it packed into some kind of container, or an image file?
How did you burn it?

Not sure if it would matter what kind of CD type it is, did you check on Sony's website about recommendations?
