just a note to anyone planning to pick this up its the same transfer as the one released 2 yrs ago and the same 1.0 mono track released on the movie the only extras are a big box with a cookbook.

this is all per highdef digests review but nonetheless this is pathetic by warner

It is disappointing to see that because I was thinking of getting it but if it is the same as the disc release before, I'll be waiting till the next re-issue which should be christmas 2009 knowing WB.

You know, now I just don't care anymore about Warner's ongoing trend with lossy Dolby Digital audio. I'm still gonna get the re-release of A Christmas Story on Blu-ray. It's tradition to have this movie for the holidays, so to speak.
