Post You are all lucky!!!!!!

As far as I know, i''m one of the 7 people in my town who have a Blu-Ray player of any sort. When I go to Wal Mart to see if they have any movies, the only response I get is "What's Blu-Ray?", But my favorite is "Ohh, that's still in theaters, it comes out on DVD later in the summer [refering to Blu-Ray]." It kinda sucks living in a town with a population of 7000. Have any of you ever had a problem like this?

I live in what I like to call a glorified village, but in reality it is a suburb so there are about 7,000,000 people in London, but only about 20,000 in my immediate area.

There's a town an hour away that has 75000. I like my town, but theres nothing here but a Walmart and a courthouse.

You lot have things good!

I live in a sleepy village at the foot of a ski centre in Scotland, population is around the 100 mark....If I even mentioned high def or blu ray, it would be interpreted as witchcraft and I would get burned at the stake.

I get the feeling that the husbands and wives in the village are also brother and sister

Thank god for online shoping....

How true. Wihtout online shopping I would be stuck with only a few BDs, all of them with the advanced audio codecs only fur the dubbed version, and despite shipping and customs I'd even pay more.

Admittedly, my local HMV (Kingston-upon-Thames) has a large-ish Blu-ray section which seems to be growing weekly. I've not looked at it per-say as I don't yet have a BD player.

However, since my spend hand is getting itchy, I think I'll have a proper look before I finally jump in with a player.
