Default Blu-Ray DVD?

I don't know if this has been discussed before but...

Does it bug any one when they hear "BLU-RAY DVD"? Its not just people its companies advertizing things as "BLU-RAY DVD" I just think that this will confuse the tech-challenged people even more. It doesn't bug me THAT much but just feels like its wrong even though Blu-rays are "Digital Video Discs"
