We all know about the ending of The Sixth Sense or The Other's but what movie ending caught you totally unaware.

Please guys try not to give the ending away.

Dang MadTV ran a skit that spoiled the ending of the Other's for me. I was sooo angry.

The ending of the Village was unexpected for me.

The ending of Fellowship of the Ring is always unexpected for me for multiple reasons. One, I've never read the books (I know I know). Two, I always expect the end to be after Gandalf does his whole "You shall not pass" thing. Three, the movie seems to end so abruptly. Walking down a path - fade to black. Done. Come back next year.

I'm sure there are others, but I can't think of any at the moment.

EDIT - thought of another. Iron Man. I didn't expect either ending - even knowing who was appearing after the credits. To clarify. When I say both endings, I mean the before credits and after credits ending. And I am specifically referring to the press conference before the credits

And everyone knows it now, but not having read the book, Fight Club was a big curveball for me.

That really surprised me too. I can't believe what he said that at the press conference! That was a real shocker.

I agree they should have kept it under wraps until the second movie at least or even the 3rd.
