Recent PS3 Issues

Want to know if anyone else has run into these:

1 - Playing a game of Madden '09. The game I was playing finished, but then the video froze on a transition screen (showing the field), yet the audio continued to repeat the background music. After a few minutes, I ejected the disc, restarted, and all was fine.

2 - Was watching the 'Timeline' feature on Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skull. Clicked to view one of the video snippets, and the PS3 froze on the black transition screen. Nothing happened for 10 minutes, so I ejected the disc and restarted. Upon restart, the text on the XMB was 'broken', as in some pieces of the text appeared out of line (basically horizontal white lines from the text would be moved over a few centimeters). I then shut it off for a few minutes, restarted it, and everything seemed to be fine from there.

I hope my PS3 isn't crapping out already. I've only had it since Feb., and use it, on average, about an hour a day.

Anyone else have these issues? Are they 'expected' as little hiccups?
