Default Information Board on XMB doesn't load up

Hi forum members,

Just wanted to see if anyone had heard of this issue and if there was a possible fix or know what's the exact prob. Already looked on the Playstation Forum and no one seems to have an answer.

Anyways, the Information Board icon on the XMB for my 60GB PS3 (upgraded to an 250GB HDD) shows the rotating arrows (like its attempting to load). I click on the icon, and it gives me the "An error has occurred (00000001)" message and doesn't load up the Information Board. I connect through the PSN fine, the Playstation Store works (downloading, browsing, etc.), chats via the Playstation Eye are fine with my PSN friends, and no probs with going online with games (even trophies come up when they're earned) so the Internet connection doesn't appear to be the problem, far as I can tell. Even Remote Play through my PSP2001 with FW 5.01 works fine (turning the PS3 on directly as well as through my Internet connection).

I'm running both through an Ethernet connection (and switch over to a wireless connection in the other room) on my home network. The router is a Linksys WRT300N model, with Comcast Cable as my ISP. The PS3 is set up on a static IP of 192.168.1.150 with the following ports forwarded: 5223 to 5223 TCP, 3478 to 3479 UDP, and 3658 to 3658 UDP.

I'm at a complete loss, and am not about to go and reformat my PS3's HDD just because I can't see the Information Board. But it is annoying that one aspect of my XMB is not working, and I hope someone knows something regarding this issue.

Thanks!
