onkyo 705 and pan-bmp-bd55 HDMI problem - Blu-ray Forum

When i try to pass the video signal through the 705 it's scrambled on the tv, but the sound is working. If i go from the player to the tv its fine. I tried swiching cables didn't help, my old dvd player with hdmi out works fine. For some reason the bd-55 signal is not passing correctly ?

Check your manual, starting at page 48.

I have the (hdmi) imput set correctly to the dvd player. Monitor out is set to yes. And only that dvd (hdmi in) is assigned to the dvd. The dvd player is set to 1080i ,I also had it set to auto but it still won't work. My tv is a 1080i.

problem solved, the pan 55 must be set to hdmi video mode off, then set the res. manuelly.
