Onkyo 705 and PS3,BD-P1500??? - Blu-ray Forum

Everytime I start the PS3 or the 1500, the 705 clicks about 5-10 times with the HDMI signal. Is this a handshake issue? It only does it starting out. Is this normal?

Yes, it is normal. It happens when audio formats change at the beginning of a blu. It says this is normal somewhere in the Onkyo manual.

Its kind of annoying, but stops once you get to where you want to be.
