Picture qualtiy between in72 and ax200u

I have an infocus in72 and am going to upgrade. Price is a big concern for me so I am wondering how big of a difference in picture quality between what I have now (the in72) and a panasonic ax200u. Will I see a huge difference or should I wait (about a one year difference) and wait til I can afford the ae3000. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I really like the built in light adjustments I have read about in the ax200u that adjusts to light differences in the room. I'm not sure what this feature is called, but is this in the ae3000? I have been reading about the ax200u and like all the features but my question is, will there be a big upgrade in picture quality from my in72, because if not I will wait til i can afford the ae3000. I have watched a couple of blu-rays on my brothers samsung 61 inch 1080p tv and it put my projector to shame. That is why I am so anxious to upgrade. Anyone with any suggestions would be appreciated.
