Default Sony KDL46W4100 Firmware and lack of brightness

Has anyone updated a Sony KDL46W4100 with the recent firmware and noticed that the set seems to be dimmer than prior to the update. Prior to the update, I was using the set with the Power Saving setting set to High and when I would turn off the Power Saving setting there was a noticeable difference. Now, the set seems dimmer while on the High setting and when I turn the Power Saving setting off, there does not appear to be any real difference.

Just wondering if it is me or if anyone else has experienced this. Also, prior to the update, my set only listed a Current Software with no firmware version listed. After the update, the Current Software changed and there is now a firmware version listed. Has anyone else seen this?

Thanks for any input.

- Dan
