Speaker 'buzz/noise'? - Blu-ray Forum

Short of it:

When my receiver is on (mute as well), if I put my ear right up to any of the satellites (not the center), I can hear a slight buzz/static tone. This isn't audible unless my ear is right next to the speaker.

Is this 'normal'? None of my speaker wires are more than 22 feet.

Probably just RFI. Try moving your interconnects and speaker wires further away from any power cables.
