Default Stendhal Syndrome language?

I am wondering if this was originally filmed in English or italian? It seems like they are speaking english, but it sounds dubbed. I would appreciate any help.

Yes, Italian is the native language of the film. The English language is dubbed.

well i guess I sound have searched harder before I posted... It seems that argento shoots with his actors speaking english, but he dubs the sound in later.. So none of what is said on the set is even recorded apparently... Not sure if it applies to this film or not

I watched it in Italian despite that track not being lossless. I simply thought it better fitting to the film. Most of the actors are Italian and speak their roles in that language except Thomas Kretschmann whose Italian voice sounds somewhat strange. But Asia talking Italian... aweinspiring!
