Default Why no reviews for "Stendhal Syndrome" yet?

I want to preorder it, but I am waiting for a review. I'm sure it'll be fine, especially since the Blue Underground DVD is so highly praised. Still, I feel the need to wait for a review. This will also be a blind buy for me. I have never seen the film, but I am a fan of Argento (both Dario and Asia).

I haven't seen a screener for Stendhal Syndrome. I got the one for Heathers, and it is a good release. The video is a little soft, but that appears to be an issue with the master, and not the Anchor Bay disc. Definitely pick it up if you're a fan of the film.

Josh, thats too bad they never sent you an advanced copy. Was hoping to see an early review for the film on here.

May have to buy blind this one. From what I hear, it belongs in everyone's horror collection?!?!

I got my copy on Saturday, but haven't had a chance to pop it in the player. It has DTS-HD and Dolby TrueHD tracks in both English and Italian. Yes, count'em 4 lossless audio tracks. I'll hopefully get a chance to check it out tonight.

I'm definitely buying this. Haven't seen the film yet, but I love most of Argento's films (though I don't expect this one to be breathtaking), I want to support Argento on Blu-ray, and I definitely want to support Blue Underground on Blu-ray. I'm certain they've done a fantastic job (*crosses fingers*), and I look forward to the excellent The Bird with the Crystal Plumage on Blu-ray and other Argento films in the future! (Suspiria and Opera, please please please hurry along!)

Edit: Review at 10,000 Bullets. Sounds awesome! Blue Underground seem to be giving their Blu-ray titles the love and care they deserve.

No, it doesn't. There are only two lossless tracks, and they're both in English.

Yes, and that's a shame... Would have loved to have the Italian version in lossless.
