Onkyo 606 and Direct TV - Fox channel only - Blu-ray Forum

The audio and video get thrown way off on Sunday's for the football games on Fox HD channel. Can't really notice unless an announcer is on the screen. I watched a DVR'd Fringe (FOX) and it as messed up as well. When I turn DD off on the DVR it gets somewhat better but the audio still will not match the video. I have tried ever MS delay setting from 0 to 10 and nothing helps. The last 5 mins of the show everything synced up and was fine. This only happens with Fox and has not happened with any other channel or the PS3/Wii. Anyone else have issues like this?

I get it off and on on all channels

If I call and complain will they give me a new box? I pay that $5 a month plan. I've got one of the old grey boxes and would like the newer black one.

Please identify what DTV DVR model you have.

I just went thru a mess with DTV about their DVR's; from HR20 to HR21 and finally the HR22 (which is working GREAT at firmware level 29B). My problem was recording and then at playback, two choices: delete or cancel.

DTV was able to get me to an operational state even though we spent around two months of effort (and they even offered compensation for my troubles).

So, DTV will assist you.

I would say the HR20. It is about a year old now.

It worked fine yesterday. First Sunday this season.
