Default HDMI Splitter
I need to get an HDMI splitter, but am not sure what to go with. Both Monoprice and Firefold have inexpensive active (powered) 1x2 options. Any opinions out there?

I have already tried a passive (non-powered) 1x2 splitter from Monopricethat sort-of worked, but is not acceptable.
