Default Need your opinion

Dear Friends

If anyone can suggest. I recently bought Bose V 20 and a sony Blu ray disc player S-350. Now it is connected to the bose via HDMI, and the bose is connected with my Insignia TV via component video and a regular audio cable.
If I play a DVD or a regular audio CD in blu ray disc player (which is connected with bose via HDMI) I don't hear any sound or see any picture. However if I use a component or optical cable to connect my sony blu ray with the bose I can see the picture and hear the sound as well. Where am I wrong, why does my HDMI not work. I will appreciate your response. Please e mail or post on the forum. rahat_230@hotmail.com
