The best advice I can give is TAKE BACK the Bose system and use the $$ to buy a real AVR and a decent set of speakers. You will then be able to listen to HD audio, connections will be simple (HDMI only) and you'll have LOTS of $$ left over for BDs. Seriously consider this.
