Default Question about PS3

I am looking for a PS3 that has the usb ports in the back of the system, I remember seeing it on the Silver PS3 that was released overseas anyone know of a system in the states that has it?

There is no consumer model PS3 with USB ports on the back.

The silver you speak of is the concept shown a few years before the PS3 released.

Not to sound like a smart ass, but if you need usb ports in the back you could always buy a small usb hub and run from one port in the front and wrap the wire round the side (barely visible) and walah, ports in the back at a cheap price.

its not that I need them it would just look cleaner with my bluetooth charging cradle plugged in from the back then me wrapping the cord around the ps3

you must have ocd to spend 400 bucks for that clean look ... heh, that or just in the market for another ps3

But I get what your saying, thankfully I wrap mine just a little so its hard to see, and then the wire doesnt make it sprawl out cause the tension is blocked by the cradle holding up against one of th poles of the a/v rack. (if that explanation is even good enough for you to understand visually lol)

Couldn't you just hook it up to a PC? Then you wouldn't have the cord wrapping around your PS3 at all.

Or the usb charging station at the front of a Panamax line conditioner, so long as we are considering his options.

Well I am getting my dad a Blu-ray player anyways so I was hoping to just get a ps3 with ports on the back (cause I do have a little ocd when it comes to my electronics) and then just give him my current one.
