806 reciever is reading PCM - Blu-ray Forum

how do i fix this PCM problem it sounds very low now

Maybe he changed the settings...did he mess with the receiver or the BDP?

no the main reciever cause it says it when i put on the xbox also

First, don't start multiple threads to discuss the same item. There is no reason for this.

Second, we can't help fix your "problem" unless you give us some insight as to what your system is. Let us know what each of your components in your system is, how they're connected together, and what your 806 normally does.

whats the problem? PCM is normal if the signal is being sent LPCM from the source.

when I first set up my onkyo806 it was sweet loud crisp sound couldent go over -30 without shaking my whole room LOL now it says PCM next to the ps3 or xbox but it's much lower then before -30 now is nothing something is wrong how do I take out this PCM everything I have is connected by hdmi
