Default Blu-ray and SD cards

What are the benifits of using an SD card in a blu-ray player other than viewing photos. And how much memory would be recommended. I assume there are some BD features that require an SD card???

Depending upon the capabilities of the player, flash memory can be used for storing BONUSVIEW and BD-Live content.

How about storing MP3s on a 16 gig SD card and plugging them into your car, your Palm or your Panny BD player?

Now if Acura would just get smart and put an SD card reader in their premium sound system, I would be a happy camper.
