Default Blu-ray in everyday media

I saw 'mentions' of Blu-ray in TWO anime episodes today. It got me thinking about the small scene in Tropic Thunder, and it kinda just made me happy. That the format has become such a regular thing, that it's found it's way into our 'everyday' lives.

Nothing huge, it just made me grin.

First up was a show called Kannagi. Character taped over another characters recorded VHS, and was throwing a fit. So he called a friend to go out and get the episode for him. What did the friend bring?

Next up was a show called Kemeko DX. A little more vague this one, but talking about a mdeia conglomerate with it's hands in everything, the character was describing all sorts of products they sell, and images were flashing. And here's waht popped up:

Blurry, but obviously a Blu-ray logo in the upper left corner, made even funnier by the fact that it's on a spoof Microsoft product!

Any other examples out there?

Sony has to be behind that first mention. It was obviously a product placement. But as long as the message is getting out there...
