I'll be upgrading my home theater soon, and first on the agenda is a new display. I'm going from a 720p CRT to 1080p and I've narrowed it down to these two choices: http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-PN50A5...=2QSN4HUV7UMWP and http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-HL61A7...=2QSN4HUV7UMWP Until I saw the 61" Samsung LED DLP, I had my mind set on the 50" Samsung plasma...but now I'm undecided. They both cost about the same, so the main difference is screen size (yay for 61" on the DLP!) and footprint (yay for the plasma being much thinner!). Oh yeah, and the DLP will suck up less electricity, but I get free utilities at my apartment building, so I don't have to worry about electric bills...although less electricity is the greener choice. So help me out, fellow Blu-ray buffs...which one should I buy? Last edited by Barion; 11-23-2008 at 09:42 AM.
