Onkyo 706 or Pioneer VSX-91TXH - Blu-ray Forum

Both receiver's are around $500 shipped, any advice?

I was just looking at that Pioneer deal with a friend yesterday. Seems like an excellent receiver, but you're getting fewer HDMI, about the same wattage (about 110 per, I think) and similar features on both. Outside of their looks (and possible sound differences) pretty much it's down to that that I can see.
