Default Help: Connecting Blu Ray to existing HTS

I just purchased a Sony Blu Ray Player (BDP-BX1). It works fine when it is connected directly to my TV via HDMI (Samsung 40" 1080i LCD). However when I connect it through my Home Theater System (Samsung DVD Home Theater HTQ80) the audio works, but the colors are only pink & green. I am connecting the Blu Ray via HDMI cable from the Blu Ray's HDMI Out jack to the HTS's HDMI In jack. I am connecting the HTS to the TV via HDMI cable from the HTS's HDMI Out Jack to the TV's HDMI In jack.

Connect the player directly to the TV using each cable. If both work fine, then there is something wrong with your HTIB. If not, then replace the bad cable.
