Help: Connecting Blu Ray to existing HTS - Blu-ray Forum

I just purchased a Sony Blu Ray Player (BDP-BX1). It works fine when it is connected directly to my TV via HDMI (Samsung 40" 1080i LCD). However when I connect it through my Home Theater System (Samsung DVD Home Theater HTQ80) the audio works, but the colors are only pink & green. I am connecting the Blu Ray via HDMI cable from the Blu Ray's HDMI Out jack to the HTS's HDMI In jack. I am connecting the HTS to the TV via HDMI cable from the HTS's HDMI Out Jack to the TV's HDMI In jack.

Connect the HDMI for video from the Blu-ray player to the T.V. and connect the audio via optical.
