Default Choppy video with MPEG4 titles

I have been having a very annoying problem with a few titles, which i have noticed used the MPEG4 codec. XMEN the last stand, Behind Enemy Lines and a few others. XMEN is the title that disappoints me the most, because i like that movie. I am running my blu-ray setup through my PC, Sony Blu-ray BWU-100 drive, 2 ATI X1600PRO video cards in crossfire config, amd X2 dual core 3800 processor, with Cyberlink BD 6.6 software (came with the drive), 2GB of ram and samsung 56" 1080P DLP...

The problem i'm having is that the video is very choppy and not as smooth as MPEG-4 is supposed to be, and even the sound fades in and out. Can anybody out there have any suggestions for this problem?

Did you download these movies? Because so far, the ones on BD are not in MPEG-4/AVC.

EDIT: Behind Enemy Lines is in MPEG-4/AVC. X-men III is MPEG-2.

EDIT EDIT: X-Men III is MPEG-4. Wonder why I thought it to be MPEG-2?

what is recommended to run these types of titles... I have confidence in my PC's capabilities (see detailed setup in my original post). What setup would you recommend, Benes, because i exceed most of the recommended requirements that Cyberlink and Sony have specified.

Go here: http://www.cyberlink.com/multi/produ...e_112_ENU.html

Make sure that you are running the latest and best version of the Cyberlink player. Also, make sure that System restore is disabled when playing Blu-ray movies (at least as a test). Right-click on My Computer and select the System Restore tab. Click the checkbox "Turn off System Restore on all drives" and click Apply. Examine the Task Manager to make sure that there is nothing else running and that there is enough free ram.

You may also want to try WinDVD too to see if that helps.
