Default Really choppy playback on Sharp HP20 with certain SD-DVD titles

Has anyone noticed this with any player/title combinations before?

The two I have come across so far are Monsters Inc and Ed Wood (Both SD-DVD obviously).

The movement is not smooth at all, almost looks like its running at 12 fps instead of 24 fps. No problems with the audio, skipping, etc. Never noticed this on prior SD - DVD players I had either.

I'm running the Sharp BD-HP20U with the June 9th firmware, sending 720p over component video to an Epson projector. Have no issues with any other titles so far, and I've been watching lots of titles since February when I got the player.
