My guess is probably like 2011. Japan I know has the live action movies on Blu-ray but as for the anime series nope and for America I think the odds are even less likely to be sometime soon.

First movie is very good and I found second one good as well. I have yet to see the third one.

The Blu-Rays of Death Note has released in Japan already, all three of them. But ,unfortunately, with no English subtitles.

I've seen all of them in Theaters, my take on it - First was good, Second was better, Third (so-called spinoff) is hell.
