Cool HDMI cables who knwos the answers?

I just bought the Sony BD-350 and was told that my LG TV with the 120 /Hz refresh rate needs to have an HDMI Monster Cable $139 that is made for that refresh rate? I saw that they need to be ver 1.3 but what else do I need to look for? I found cables on Amazon for $13.99 that state they are rated for Blu-ray and 120hz. What is the deal?

they're full of it, it does not have to be a monster cable.

that $139.00 = 90% markup for the store thats why they push them so hard. what they are telling you is bull.

you can go to costco and get a 12' cable for 30 bucks. That is the cheapest place i have found without going online and ordering.

If you go to www.monoprice.com it will cost you as low as $3.23 depending on length. If I remember correctly, I spent about $6 for the HDMI cable I use for my system and that included shipping.

There are tons of data regarding cables on Blu-ray.com. Look them up, read them and save a bunch of $$$$$$$$

LIES.
If you don't order from monoprice.com, as others have suggested, don't spend more than 30-35 on your HDMI cables. I have $32 on Vizio cables from Walmart and they work fantastic.
