Is there a difference in HDMI cables? gold plated or non gold plated? thanks.

Hi,

No there´s no difference in Picture quality.

if you have a picture on your screen, you have automatically the best quality.
Cheap cables have the same effect like expensive ones...

disb, there can be a difference over time in terms of corrosion and things of that nature. however, short term they should be fine

does a regular hdmi cable work with the PS3? My dad has one with an upconvert player that he doesn't use. I plugged it in, and it went into the PS3 fine. Was just wondering if this cable would work with the ps3, or if you have to get one specifically made for ps3 (like one at eb games for example)
