Blu-ray in the massmarket media: Post your articles/videos/pictures/audio here!

I wasn't sure if I should have posted this in the anecdotes thread, since it's not about my own experiences. This can be the thread for posting pictures, videos, etc on how the masses' acceptance of Blu-ray is growing. Feel free to post media or stories when you find Blu-ray being mentioned in the media.


Report 1: Today I was on YouTube and saw an sxephil video with the title, OBAMA = The Black Bush?, so I had to watch it. A couple minutes in, he holds up the Wanted Blu-ray he just bought, and talked a bit about how his iPod likes the Digital Copy that came with it. Skip to 2:20 for the clip.

For those who don't go to YouTube much, or for those who have enough self-control to ignore the fruity YouTube celebs, sxephil is one of the biggest faces on YouTube.





Report 2: I've also been seeing this Blu-ray-ONLY Dark Knight ad several times on YouTube in the past couple days. No mention of DVD whatsoever, though if you refresh enough you'll eventually see a version that has the regular and special edition DVD behind the Blu-ray case. Poor DVD.


Report 3: I was on AOL the other day and saw this picture from the American Music Awards of Chris Brown. I didn't know anything about him, but he was apparently the biggest winner at the show, winning American Artist of the Year, etc.



Is it just me, or does he look happier getting a Blu-ray player than he did winning all those AMA awards?
