Nice, I have C-500s, C-C100, S10.3 sub and use C-300s as surrounds and will get the C-200s for backs at xmas time to complete 7.1.

That's a good deal though.

I had a set of Energy speakers and unfortunately I was not impressed. I returned them for the infinities. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone unless it is an amazing deal.

I would see what they go for on boxing day before you purchase.

I own the Energy S10.3 sub as well. Though it's not the best on the market obviously, I found it performs quite well, particularly in small rooms (see my gallery pics). It is also a great match with the speakers you've chosen.

I can't afford nor have the room for large or expensive speakers. I got the sub for a great price ($150) and I'm very happy with how it sounds. I'm sure you'll be pleased with that system.

It's all a matter of opinion as I have tested JBL, Sinclair(QC), Kilpsh (thoses I really don't like but they should be good for music) and also INfinity the same is very Lame IMO. The only speakers that I would have bought would have been the Paradim but too much expensive

What series of speakers have you bought and returned I am talking about the C-series. I alsp have the first set of speakers Energy have done teh Take 5.1 classic and I was more then happy with thoses it's been 10 years and still playing great for a in-box system.

I have heard the C series in a 16 by 14wide chamber and I must say that the sound was great so when the guy tols me that I could get a great deal I jumped on it. 1000$ for the whole thing now I'am looking for a decent Receiver probably going to go with the Yahama RV-1800 I can have it for 950$ cdn. and also for a projector.

I'm making in my home basement my special room a 20 by 14 with probably a 106 to 120 inch screen.

Thumbs up

I have old bookshelf speakers pair from Energy loudspeakers C-1. It's great sound but limited 20 to 100 watts. that's 7 years old.

I actually had some Energy speakers for a few days b/f returning them for some cheaper Wharfedales.
Everytime I crank up a movie, I think of those Energys and how I wish I'd kept them.
