help with playing a blu ray disc

Hello, i bought a pioneer drive bdc2202 ,and an original blu ray movie disc now after i installed the software that came with it (WINDVD) i try to play it and this message pop up:

Mismatch between disc and player region codes, see disc package for details.

i bought the disc from amazon.com (resident evil) it is printed in the u.s.a , and the details on amazon said its all regions playable and on the package there are 3 globes with a,b,c in them so i think that the disc plays on all regions) ,i bought the pioneer drive from my country ,israel.
what should i do to play the disc? please help ^^

system specs: windows xp pro , intel quad core 2 q6600 2.4ghz cpu , 3gb of ram , gforce 8600 gt 512mb video card.
