Default Drive plays disc but doesn't see it - odd?

Hey guys,

I got a Blu Ray drive for my PC. I can play the discs using PowerDVD. However, when I go to "My Computer," I cannot see or access the DVD by clicking on the drive.

How can I fix this? Is this normal?

Thanks!

Do you mean you can’t see a BD under XP?

UDF reader should fix it.
My XP machine must have gotten it/one from one of the many Blu-ray software programs and applications it has.

You mean, it won't see the disc like this?

UDF reader. Get it.

Where can I get this UDF Reader?

A simple Google search does not necessarily lead to me a downloadable file.

Got mine through Roxio(Sonic) EMC 10(now 2009).

Here's mine:

Maybe one of these will work for you if you don't want to get Roxio EMC:

Thanks all! I fixed it by getting Ahead Nero 9. It's only $80 as a download on their website. After I installed it (which took a very very long time), and restarted, I can now see the contents of the disk and its label!

Finally!!

It comes with a whole bunch of other junk which I may use in a little bit.

Hope this helps others.
