I like a lot of them, but the ONE I absolutely have to watch every year is:

A Christmas Carol: Alistair Sim (1951)

And it's become a tradition that it's watched on Christmas Eve!

It's become tradition now to dig out that vintage "Twilight Zone" episode with Art Carney as the drunken department-store Santa...
There are very few TZ episodes that'll have you reaching for the Kleenex, and that's one of them.

(The episode with Donald Pleasance as the old Mr. Chips schoolteacher being the other one, and also taking place over Christmas, but not as holiday focused.)

Hi, I have all of the shows and movies you have on your list with the exception of Planes, Trains and Automobiles. My copies of your listed items are all on oldray DVD except for Christmas Vacation (I have it on BD).

I also adore:

A Christmas Story (BD)
Elf (BD)
Home Alone (BD)
Polar Express 2-D / 3-D (BD)
This Christmas (BD)
Bad Santa (BD)

and these which I would not consider traditional Christmas movies (some only show a Christmas tree or Santa at some point in the film):

Trading Places (BD)
Die Hard (BD)
Hellboy II (BD)
The Bone Collector (BD)
Chronicles of Narnia TWTL&TW (BD) (Santa makes appearance)
Peter Jackson's King Kong (Central Park scene)
(I'm sure there are many others that fit into this category)

I also have (but have not yet watched):

Jingle All The Way (BD)
The Santa Clause 3 (BD)
Fred Claus (BD) (actually, this one is in the mail on its way to me)

Quote:
But you asked for my FAVORITE:

I love SHREK THE HALLS. I am pissed that I only came out on oldray DVD. I saw this last year in ABC in HD and it was STUNNING. This should be on Blu-ray with DTS Master Audio. Needless to say, I will program my HD DVR to record it when it plays again on ABC-HD at 8 pm on December 22nd.

I love to watch one showing of the Christmas Story on Christmas day. I also like Scrooged, Home Alone 1-2, and Christmas Vacation.
