Default A Blu-ray season?

I,ve noticed that tons of peple are getting Hi Def tv sets this year due to amazing after Xmas deals. Alot of these folks are also going Blu. Six friends of mine went with a new TV just in the last week and 4 of them also got a Blu Ray player. Add to this some great deals on the discs and it has seemed to be a Blu Christmas. Around here it feels as though Blu Ray is very rapidly becoming the norm. Are you folks seeing the same trends in your neck of the woods?

I don't purchase Blus from Best Buy (too expensive) but I like to take a look at what they have and while walking the BB aisles, I have noticed a lot more people looking and purchasing Blus.

I use to be in the BB Blu aisle by myself but no longer so.

Best Buy has pricing(on most BDs) within a few dollars of online sources.
That whole have it now - watch it now thing is worth the extra couple dollars.

More and more, yes, I have been seeing people hovering around the HDTV and BD player displays at my local store.
BD isle is getting increasingly crowded.

Good news is, they are placing more stock in the racks - this is forcing them to add more racks(taking away from DVDs).

Blu is such a great color, huh?

I agree, not to mention that by the time you add in shipping from an online retailer the price is close to the same as buying from any B&M retailer with sales tax. Unless you choose free shipping then you have to wait a week or longer.

20 minutes vs 3-5 days... I prefer 20 minutes.
