Default Suggestions for movie for wife?

Can anyone recommend a good chick flick I can get for my wife for Christmas? She likes romantic comedies (suprise)!

"Enchanted" is not bad. "Just Friends" with Ryan Reynolds is pretty funny
"Kate and Leopold", chicks dig Hugh Jackman

Thanks buddy, I'll look into that one.

That is a good idea. Next time we go, we want to make a pit stop in Jerome or one of the other nearby towns (forgot names) and check out the winery there.

I think she wants to see The Waitress with Keri Russell, any good?

Huge chick flicks renters at my work like Sex & the City, P.S. I love you, 27 Dresses and Juno (whick I enjoy a lot as well). Oh and as for Waitress, the girl I work with hated it and she adores most chick flicks.

This isn't a "chick flick" per se, but ONCE is a love story and the soundtrack is fantastic.

Waitress is pretty good. I found it enjoyable as did my lady.

I don't think PS "I love you" is a romantic comedy... my lady and my sister said it was really quite sad, though good. The Notebook is another good one that's tear inducing (I let loose my fair share of tears on that one), if we're listing good romantic-y movies that aren't necessarily romantic comedies.

Here's a list of ones I enjoy:

Love actually is an obvious one (can't imagine you guys haven't seen it, but I'll mention it just for safety).

Knocked up is one that manages to cross gender lines and be quite entertaining for everyone, though that's another obvious one.

When Harry Met Sally is a favorite of mine.

A Lot Like Love is another well done one that's easy to watch together.

Bridget Jones (both of them) are pretty good. I'm a sucker for Hugh Grant for some reason though.

Notting Hill is another good Hugh Grant one.

Before Sunset and Before Sunrise are two of my favorites, though not really romantic comedies (by a favorite director of mine) -- a lot of talking in them.

Princess Bride is a classic.

Annie Hall is brilliant if you enjoy Woodie Allen movies.

Sounds like PS I Love you is good and on blu. Now, how to find out if she has seen it, without being obvious.

Just watched that last night again for the umpteenth time. Great, great movie! For a love-story it is rather unconventional and not really sure if that would qualify. The PQ/AQ is a definate 5/5.
