... for kids. Anyone know of any good, kid friendly scary movies? I am not looking for the typical suggestions, Corpse Bride, Nightmare Before Christmas, I am looking for things that I may not have heard of, or may not be thinking of. No trying to sneak anything in that could be...well, you know. I will check them out myself first.

I loved Saturday the 14th as a kid, but haven't seen it since. Goonies (pretty common). Watcher in the Woods. Something Wicked This Way Comes.

I am thinking a little more obscure too. They can even be older movies from the 30's 40's and 50's.
I've got all the Universal Monster Movies, Dracula, Frankenstein, The Mummy, etc.

Period movies are good too.... I like The Lady in White, the kids haven't seen that one yet.

How about House II. I loved that as a kid. I think it is a little more kid friendly than the first one.
