What is a good fighting stick for PS3?

Looking ahead at Street Fighter IV and it's trophies.. got me to thinking.. if I want to compete at that game, I am going to have to get an arcade stick.

PS3 probably has the worst default control pad for fighter games.. that is probably the hardest adjustment for me on Street Fighter II HD out right now. De-pad is horrid for pulling off moves.. you really need an arcade stick.. and four buttons just does not work.

So what are the best arcade sticks out there? Anyone have one or seen one they like?

I remeber when figter games where big.. I could get a genesis 6 button turbo with even programmable moves.. not sure if they even make something like that nowadays.. a turbo arcade stick would be nice though..

If you don't mind the money, get a Hori. If you do mind it, get the one coming from Madcatz.

I have the SCIV stick right now and it's good. Just not great.

Hori Real Arcade Pro 3 is really good. I'd recommend the Amazon Special Edition, but those are pretty rare now.

If you want to play at the top levels, then yes.

Strongly disagree. The PS3 SixAxis/Dual Shock 3 has the best default control setup for fighting games of the 3 current gen consoles. It's the only one with a functional directional pad (but heaven help you if you're playing Zangief or Ivy or another full-circle move character on any of these games).

As mentioned, the Hori Fighting Stick 3 is pretty much the best arcade stick, hands down.
