I bought a cordless landline phone yesterday with an answer phone and instead of buying the cheapest available i went for the BT stratus..

Unfortunately one of the reasons i went for a more expensive one was in the assumption that the ringtones wouldn't sound cheap and nasty and yes they bloody welll do sound cheap and nasty...

Why the feck cant you preview the ringtones ?? I just want a quiet one that purrs like a cat and doesnt sound like it fell out of a bloody chritsmas cracker !!

Never had the problem with ring tones as my father forbids phones to ring as they will wake him up, as he works night shift which could cause the ringing aparatus to fly and then get broken...

Let me tell you about my bird clock that in spanish (accidently gift from grandma) well every hour it sung.. my dad heard it and it no longer works anymore...

I think the bird calls were also in Spanish because none of them sounded any bird ive heard before.
